MEISSEN Artwork Meets Japanese Kintsugi
A once-in-a-lifetime fusion of German porcelain MEISSEN and Japanese Kintsugi, crafted and completed by you.
Step into a world where time-honored masterpieces are revived by traditional techniques and reborn in newfound beauty.
This cultural experience invites you to the Kyoto showroom salon of MEISSEN, the storied German porcelain house with around 300 years of legacy.
You will begin your journey by selecting your MEISSEN artwork and repairing it with your own hands using the traditional Japanese technique of Kintsugi.
Guided by a craftman, you will not only restore porcelain but also encounter the aesthetic and spiritual philosophy behind lacquerware, wabi-sabi, and the appreciation of imperfection. Each golden line you apply tells a story—not of damage, but of renewal and dignity.
After Kintsugi session, you will be invited to a curated tea break using MEISSEN artwork paired with seasonal wagashi. In this final moment, East and West harmonize in silence, completing a ritual that lingers for a long time.
